The shape comes first
A style only starts when it solves something a bag we already sell does not — a size, a strap drop, a way of opening. That is why the line grew to seventeen and not seventy.

Varellune started with one question: why does a bag stop looking good the moment it stops looking new? We answered it the slow way — full-grain leather where it belongs, sealed edges, solid brass hardware you can replace instead of throw away.
Seventeen styles, seven collections, nothing released before it survives a season of being carried. If something ever goes wrong, write to us: we repair before we replace.

Most of the collection is full-grain leather, softly finished and uncorrected — it deepens with use instead of peeling. Two styles are made in vegan materials, and we say so on the tag rather than hiding it.

Thirty seconds: the city waking up, a seam closed by hand, and the bag that comes out of it.
A style only starts when it solves something a bag we already sell does not — a size, a strap drop, a way of opening. That is why the line grew to seventeen and not seventy.

Each shape is cut in the finishes that suit it — black and chestnut for daily leather, vanilla and claret for the seasonal runs, vegan materials where the style calls for it.

Edges sealed and burnished, stress points reinforced, lining closed by hand. It is the slowest step and the one that decides how the bag looks in year three.

Solid brass, screwed rather than riveted, so a worn clasp can be replaced instead of retiring the bag. Nothing ships without a second pair of eyes.

“I wanted a bag that would still be mine in ten years.”
I could not find one at a price that made sense, so we made it. We keep the line short on purpose — seventeen styles, each one there because it does something the others do not.
